We serve, first-time, returning, and transfer students. Our students are full-time and part-time. For more information about us, check out the Office of Institutional Research and NOVA's Viewbook.
Our Faculty
Over 500 faculty and 700 staff serve our students at NOVA.
NOVA is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees and certificates in selected occupational areas. The curricula of the College are approved by the NOVA Board and by the State Board for Community Colleges. Our two-year associate degree programs are also approved by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). We invite you to take our NOVA virtual tour. We invite you to explore the many educational opportunities available at Northern Virginia Community College. NOVA is a great place to get a degree, earn credits and transfer them to a four-year institution, enhance your career or learn something new. At NOVA, quality education is affordable and accessible to everyone. NOVA also serves International Students by making classes such as English as a Second Language (ESL) available, which gives you the skills you need to communicate in other academic courses you pursue.
